Everyday Kana Privacy Policy

Everyday Kana is an iPhone app for learning hiragana and katakana through writing practice.
Information We Collect
Everyday Kana may collect the following information only when you explicitly opt in from the app settings to help improve handwriting recognition quality.
- Handwriting images
- The expected kana character
- The app's recognition result and confidence score
- App version
- A random anonymous device ID
This data does not include your name, email address, Apple ID, or contacts. We do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app stores learning progress, practiced characters, quiz correct and incorrect counts, the last learning date, pen settings, and whether the first-run guide has been shown on your device to provide the learning experience.
Accounts and Sign-In
The current version does not provide account creation, sign-in, or server sync. Handwriting data, when submitted, is stored only with an anonymous ID.
Advertising and Tracking
The current version does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or user tracking features.
Data Deletion
You can reset your learning history in the app settings. If you delete the app, the app data stored on your device is also deleted.
Handwriting data sent to the server is not linked to a personal account, so the app does not provide automatic deletion of a specific user's submitted samples. If you need to make a deletion request, please use the support page below.
